About Face - face painting, make-up and body art by Zoe Thornbury-Phillips

Zoë Thornbury-Phillips - 'Body Painter of the Year' at the UK Face and Body Art Show, 2007.

Zoë has been a face and body artist and agent for other artists since 1994.

Since winning her award Zoë has been featured in Illusion Magazine (Issue 5) and is going to be demonstrating at the UK Face and Body Art Show in October 2008.

With a background in art and photography, Zoë began face painting at children’s parties, farms and restaurants. Years of experience and attending training workshops, shows and conventions helped improve her skills as a make-up artist.

Zoë then started providing unique bodypainted performers for events companies at high profile events. She was also commissioned for film and television projects.

In 2007 Zoë began teaching her art, in addition to working continuously as face and body artist. She has also built up a database of great artists with varied specialities.

Zoë says, “I love what I do. It’s most important to ascertain exactly what my clients need and how my skills and service can fit best into their event. Then, I like to deliver with reliability, professionalism”.
